Hey there!

I guess I’ll introduce myself as well! I’m Erin, I’m 19 and I’m a rising Junior at Wingate University. I’ve been riding Dressage  for about 8 years now, but I started out on wicked ponies at around 5 doing hunters, then jumpers, and a little bit of eventing, which opened my eyes to the challenging, rewarding and never ending journey of Dressage 🙂

Currently I (kind of) own 3 horses. My main competition horse, Zhivago (half arab) who I am showing Prix St Georges (and who I am one score away from my Silver Medal) with is both the love of my life and the source of much frustration, but with all of the blood, sweat, and tears we put into our horses, what good horse woman can’t say that? :p Then we have, Daily Grace (Grace) my 3 YO Oldenburg mare that my Aunt bought and currently owns for me, and my mother’s very retired OTTB Jimmy.

Along with Zhivago, I ride and show Robert Belton’s lovely home-bred Hannoverians. Two younger ones (Figure of Speech and FDR, both of whom I will be showing at Regionals) and two older ones (Wessex and Faulkner). I’ve been riding Bo’s horses for about a year now, and it has been an amazing journey so far. These horses have taught me so much in such a short amount of time and I absolutely cannot wait to see where we’ll end up 🙂

Even after 8 years of solid Dressage training, I still feel like quite the infant when it comes to all the knowledge and feeling that is needed for Dressage, but I love every minute of it!
Hopefully you’ll enjoy my little slice of Regionals!
